14th November: Electric Circus with Tha Trickaz and Ko Flow
Bedsty and La Maison presents Electric Circus featuring Tha Trickaz back in Singapore for the second time, Singapore’s very own Ko Flow and Bedsty’s DJ J-Styles! Need we say more? Expect a night of 90’s hip hop and electro music such as dubstep or drum & bass.
Tha Trickaz’s live performances best illustrate the magic of combined imagination: rare and traditional vinyl cut up with sampling, scratching, analog instruments, live musicians & the MPC real time drumming. All this combined with killer beats to shake the floor! They played alongside international artists such as Kid Koala, Wu Tang Killa Beez, Mix Master Mike, Busdriver, The Scratch Perverts, Wax Tailor,Dj Kentaro and even skateboard legend Tony Hawk for the Quicksilver Tony Hawk Show in Paris.
The originality of their music has initiated worldwide collaborations with respected artists such as Shabazz the Disciple, Killarmy, Hell Razah (Sunz Of Man), Tariq.L , Genghis Khan, Non Genetic, Mc Yoke (Tokyo), Ali (45 Scientific), La Fine Equipe (Paris).
DJ KoFlow maintained his hard work and dedication to DJing, and continued to win numerous awards. He was given honorable mention for Juice Magazine Best New DJ 2003, named Best Musician at the Nike StreetStyle Awards in 2004, Honorable Mention for Juice Magazine Best Independent DJ 2004 and won the Heineken Thirst Singapore 2005. And by 2008, he was mentioned Best DJ by Juice Magazine.
A influential force in his gifted craft, his uniquely versatile and all rounded performance style had seen him playing along side international artists such as Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot, Kanye West, Black Eye Peas, Nas, Akon, Jazzy Jeff, DJ ShortKut, DJ Jred, Grandmaster Roc Raida,The Herbaliser, MC Jin, Dynamo Production, Marty kudelka. He was also feature in numerous festival such as, Youth Olympic Games, MTV pattaya music festival, Floorskillz, Battle of the year, Beatnik, F1 Racing post parties, MTV Asia Awards post parties, Siloso Beach Party, Chingay as well as The Asian Hip Hop Festival in Bangkok featuring the All-stars of asian hip hop artistes including, MC Hot Dog, Zeebra, Thaitanium, 24 Herbs, Beatmatics and Joe Flizzow.

SHAWN LIVEWIRE
Starting with his early DJ career beginning in 1998, Shawn Livewire has gone from his humble beginnings in Orlando, FL, USA to playing across the US and now, across the world. Getting the crowd to dance to something they might not even listen to is his main goal. He has played all over the South East USA in Florida, Georgia and Texas, and across the globe in places such as Spain, London, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia (Jakarta, Bandung, Bali), and Singapore. Shawn is known for his crowd pleasing sets, creating an atmosphere that always rocks the party. Now stationed on the island of Singapore, Shawn is ready to take his special blend of sound all over Asia and the world.
DJ ANG MOH
Eclectic. That one word sums up DJ Ang Moh and his Click Here!">musical philosophy. His unique party sound leaves the crowd in a state of euphoria and wishing that the night would never end. He doesn’t stick to any particular genres, believing instead that music should be a fusion of styles: the crowd should dictate the music that is being played; not necessarily the DJ. He loves a very ‘raw’ sound in his music and strives to get the crowd jumping up and down by the end of the night.
PAULSILVER
Paul Kaller, better known as DJ Paul Silver, is a party DJ with a funk-driven and soul-powered style. His set is a smooth mix of contemporary hip-hop, selections from the golden era of R&B, grimy funk, sexy soul and dancehall. Attesting to Paul Silver’s ability to create a magnetic dancefloor pull, local rapper Mark Bonafide says “honey oozes outta his fingers when this man is on the decks.”
JEAN BAPTISTE
JB has held the decks in Paris, London, Alicante (Spain) and has settled in Singapore since more than 3 years now. With his deep roots for music, he is known for laying down sets encompassing soulful, deep, classic, afro-latino, disco, funky, garage, techy just to name a few! JB’s equally comfortable in building an effective warm up set as he is in delivering the quality driving tunes during peak time! He’s also a regular host on the local internet radio Meshradio and on the house music specialized Lifted radio in the UK.
NORMAN C
He makes you move but opens your mind, letting you accept a wider spectrum of music and at a level of quality that sets the bar for you thereafter. You realise it is not the floor that dictates what a DJ plays but a DJ like Norman dictating how the people might dance.
As with any passionate music lover, a time comes when a logical progression is made from DJing to production. For Norman, his Debut EP took place in 2006, with a Deetron collaboration on the highly respected Sino techno label. Ben Sims proceeded to playlist 2 tracks in his Escapism Pt 2 mix CD and charted by Ken Ishii and Christian Smith. A slew of releases followed, including Changi to Tokyo EP, which was released exclusively on Beatport and the globally acclaimed Funk me Hard EP released on Funk Me Records. He is currently working with Chicago legend K-Alexi in his quest to push the Click Here!">musical boundaries further and wider.
Norman’s aim as a musician is simple: to add to the myriad of good music in existence. For someone who has had the gift of music for so long, it is only about time to give it all back.
