City Alive! 2011 – Singapore’s Biggest Street Dance Party

City Alive!, Singapore’s Biggest Street Dance Party, is back at the Pit Building! Brace yourself for a night of wild entertainment at the Chingay after party. This year, be prepared to be awed by the mind-blowing line up which People’s Association Youth Movement has lined up for 8,000 party enthusiasts on Saturday, 12 February 2011 from 11.00pm to 4.00am.



City Alive! has evolved tremendously over the years and in 2011, the party will be on a whole new level bringing in the best DJs around Asia such as DJ Tashi, known as “godfather” of the hip hop scene in Japan and DJ Sarasa aka Silver Boom Box who will be returning for the third year running. Accompanying them, Andrew Chow will be helming a set as the Music Director for City Alive! 2011, showcasing his internationally acclaimed hip hop grooves with his Big Beats and Funky Breaks together with Dandee from Bangkok Invaders.


Be here to witness the heart thumping, body grooving set list from our first ever DJ Protégé of the Year! Promising young DJs took part in this nation-wide competition in the hopes to be awarded this title and to spin for the first time in this mega event.


What’s more, the best dancers from the region will join our party goers at City Alive! to showcase their moves at the Finals of the Tri-Crew – Best of Asia competition. Flown in from across the region, be awed by the sleek dance moves as these 3-member crew finalists from their respective countries battle it out!


Kick starting the PAYM 40th Anniversary celebrations, City Alive! 2011 is THE party to see and be seen with opportunities to win trips for two around Asia!
